Today I hung out with my mom and did the things we used to do when I was a teenager. We strolled through the mall where I used to work and acknowledged how things had changed.

We drove out to Litchfield for a change of scenery and got ice cream at Arethusa’s Dairy farm.

In the evening I visited my best friends from high school who were able to come in from Pennsylvania and Washington DC. We swapped stories at sliders and felt out of place.
