Throughout 2013 I blogged about what I did each day after work as a social experiment, but the outcome has been more rewarding than I could have imagined.

My simple blog has allowed me to truly share my life through my perspective. The concept has surprisingly deepened my relationships with my family and friends since they were able to feel like they were with me every time I experienced something new.

I never looked back at any of my posts until New Year’s Eve and was very thankful to have put in the effort to keep this going all year. Being able to remember a moment with friends and pull up the exact day it occurred and the images I actually saw from my vantage point is incredible. It’s made me think very differently about the precious time we have and what we do with it.

So, to answer my friends’ question for 2014…

This blog is no longer an experiment because it has become a lasting practice and will continue on long beyond 2013. As a result, it’s going to live here from now on: 2013etc.com
