On Friday night I arrived in Illinois at O’Hare and waited for my friends’ flights to get in. Around midnight we finally met up with the boys and got some Mexican food before going back to our apartment to sleep on air mattresses with towel pillows.
On Thursday my co-worker came over my apartment for the first time. We got paninis at El Bambinos and watched Boy Meets World while catching up!

On Wednesday night I went to a bowling event sponsored by my office at Frames in Port Authority. Then my co-worker and I got Thai food. We also tried green tea ice cream!

Yesterday I bought some specialty goat cheese as a treat before I attempted to fix the plumbing in my shower… which didn’t work. I fell asleep at 9pm and promised myself I wouldn’t waste precious time like that after work again!

Yesterday was my last day in CT before driving on route 8 to SoNo with my friends to catch the train home. I miss driving and listening to the radio.
